Community Events

Do I need a permit to host an event at the community park?

Yes, for any gatherings of more than 10 people, a permit must be obtained by contacting Vice-Mayor Sarah White at sarah.sevenmileohio@gmail.com .

How much does the permit cost?

Permits are free.

Can I work for any of the Service Departments?

Is door-to-door soliciation allowed in the Village?

Yes, however, a permit must be obtained by completing this application and contacting the SMPD at smpd@villageofsevenmile.org. For more information regarding regulation of door-to-door solicitation within the village refer to Seven Mile Village Resolution 2023-16.

How much does the transient vendor permit cost?

Approved transient door-to-door vendors must pay a $150 licensing fee to operate within the village. Approved transient vendors operating from a fixed location must pay a $100 licensing fee.

As a resident, can I be added to a no-soliciation list?

Yes, any village resident may opt-in to a no-solicitation list by completing this form and returning it to PO Box 259 SEVEN MILE, OHIO 45062 or by email to clerk@villageofsevenmile.org. If you have opted-in and are solicited by a transient vendor please contact the SMPD.
